CleanMyGallery is a privacy-first photo management tool. We process photo files locally in your browser. We do not upload, store, or have access to your photos.
This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have. The short version: your photos stay on your device, while your account, usage summaries, and subscription state are stored only when needed to run the service.
The current web tools process selected image bytes in your browser and do not post those bytes to the CleanMyGallery API. Mobile builds are designed for on-device processing, but public store availability and final release behavior are not claimed until verification is complete.
EXIF metadata (GPS coordinates, device information, timestamps) is analyzed locally for features like Privacy Score. Stripped data is discarded on your device and is never transmitted to any server.
If you create an account, we store your email address, optional display name, authentication provider, premium status, and your daily usage counters. This lets us sign you in, show your dashboard, and enforce the free or premium plan attached to your account.
We use privacy-friendly website analytics to measure page views and product usage trends. This analytics setup is configured without cookies and does not include your photo files or the contents of anything you process.
When you are signed in and complete a tool action, the current web client sends the tool name, approved tool settings, file counts, byte counts, savings totals, and completion timestamp. Original filenames, file paths, and image bytes are excluded from this completion payload. Earlier web builds could include original filename lists in operation metadata; historical records are being reviewed, and you can request deletion of account history by contacting support.
The contact page opens a draft in your own email application. CleanMyGallery does not store the draft in browser storage or claim it was delivered before you review and send it from that application.
Free-tier visitors may see Google AdSense ads on the website. Premium users do not see ads. AdSense may process request-level data under Google's own privacy policy.
When verified premium checkout is available, purchases are handled by LemonSqueezy. We do not store your full payment card information. We receive only the details needed to confirm a purchase and activate premium access. Checkout remains paused until the catalog and entitlement lifecycle are verified.
Image transformation on cleanmygallery.com happens in your browser using JavaScript, Canvas, and the Web Crypto API. Selected image bytes are not posted to the CleanMyGallery API. Normal page requests, authentication, analytics, error monitoring, and signed-in completion summaries can still use the network.

CleanMyGallery is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, through in-app notifications or email.
Continued use of CleanMyGallery after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
